Aleksandr Chusovitin is a singer-songwriter

He was born on February 26, 1962, in Kazakhstan. His musical journey began in childhood, when he started engaging with music in the fifth or sixth grade. At the same time, he began writing poetry. The songs of Vladimir Vysotsky, Yuri Antonov, Mashina Vremeni, and Voskreseniye deeply influenced Chusovitin’s understanding and appreciation of music.
In 2023, he moved to Russia, where he currently resides and works in Anapa. He holds creative evenings at local sanatoriums, entertaining vacationers and military personnel undergoing rehabilitation.
Aleksandr Chusovitin has composed over 400 songs in the Russian chanson and city romance genres. He is a laureate of the Grand Prix at the Good Song International Festival held in Kaliningrad in 2009. Additionally, he was awarded the second prize at the Soulful Wave International Song Festival in Odessa the same year.
In 2024, Aleksandr published a poetry collection titled Heaven for the Soul. He has released seven albums to date, with an eighth currently in production.
Since 2009, he has been collaborating with the music publishing company Ray Records.
