Angelina Sergeeva and Maxim Kolchin: “Freezing Soul”

The Ray Records label released the composition “Freezing Soul.” From December 13, it is available for listening and downloading on all digital platforms.

The vocal part is performed by Angelina Sergeeva – a singer, songwriter, composer, participant of the television shows The Voice (Channel One), People’s Artist and Main Stage (Russia-1). The music is performed by the author of the project – composer and musician Maxim Kolchin. Alexey Raskopov performs the saxophone part. The author of the lyrics in English is Leonid Belozerov.

“I wrote this song, or rather, it wrote itself exactly 20 years ago, in the fall of 2004. Its first version was recorded then. I am very glad that “Freezing Soul” in its new incarnation touches me no less than the one recorded many years ago by Angelina Sergeeva, then a student at the Samara Academy of Culture and Arts,” says Maxim Kolchin.

The new single is not the first collaboration of the singer and composer. Earlier, Angelina Sergeeva performed the songs “Tri slova” and “Skazhite, chto so mnoi,” the music and lyrics for which were written by Maxim Kolchin. They were included in the compilation album People’s Artist – 3 in 2006, after Angelina participated in this TV show.
