The Duo Sezon Lyubvi

Formed in 2011, this creative duo brought together Maria Pozhidaeva and Alexey Dorokhin, then-soloists of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ musical group Leader. Their artistic partnership eventually led to the founding of the Dorokhin family. The union of these two talented and charismatic performers has proven exceptionally successful, with the vocalists performing original songs that have earned them top honors at numerous national and international competitions and festivals.

Alexey and Maria are active performers and hosts for gala concerts and major events throughout Russia and abroad. They frequently collaborate with renowned artists on joint vocal projects and serve as both organizers and jury members for various creative competitions.

Sezon Lyubvi is a regular fixture in televised concerts. In 2020, Alexey and Maria joined the panel of musical experts on the hit show Nu-ka, vse vmeste! (the Russian adaptation of the British singing competition All Together Now) on the Russia-1 channel. They also appeared in the reality show Odni doma on the Pyatnitsa! channel.

The Dorokhins serve as ambassadors for the All-Russia People’s Front, frequently traveling to perform in the Special Military Operation zone. Maria is an active member of the Cultural Front of Russia, where she heads the department responsible for organizing concerts in hospitals and rehabilitation centers for wounded military personnel. Together, the couple regularly gives charitable concerts in medical facilities and children’s residential care homes.

While celebrated as a duo, Alexey and Maria Dorokhin also maintain successful solo careers, continually striving toward new creative heights and professional milestones.
