“Rasprekrasnaya” – A New Single by Valeria Lesovskaya

Valeria Lesovskaya presents her new self-penned single, “Rasprekrasnaya” (Splendid). The track was officially released on October 13, the singer’s birthday. The single is out now in partnership with the music publishing company Ray Records.

Valeria Lesovskaya is a prominent singer, poet, and composer, recognized as a finalist of the prestigious Song of the Year festival and an expert on the hit vocal TV show Nu-ka, vse vmeste! (the Russian adaptation of the British singing competition All Together Now) on the Russia-1 channel. Valeria writes songs, creates musicals and musical fairy tales, teaches vocals, produces emerging artists, and collaborates with numerous stars across the domestic music scene.

Valeria’s latest song tells the story of a beautiful, idyllic country that everyone longs to visit, yet can only be glimpsed in dreams. According to the singer, it is a composition about childhood, long-held dreams, and the deep reflections that naturally come to mind on one’s birthday.

“The song ‘Rasprekrasnaya’ is one of those rare cases where a composition comes together overnight and is recorded just as effortlessly,” says Valeria Lesovskaya. “I want to thank arranger and sound engineer Yuri Seredyuk for bringing my idea to life right before my eyes. When I asked Yuri what this song evoked for him, he said it felt like the past. For me, I poured in thoughts of the future. Perhaps someone out there is living in that ‘splendid country’ right now.”
