Oleg Sergeev

Oleg Sergeev is a professional musician and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. He is a winner of first prizes at the republican, interregional, and all-Union flute competitions.

Oleg Sergeev is one of the first musicians in our country who professionally mastered playing a MIDI wind controller. This is an electronic saxophone of the third millennium (EWI), which has two hundred and fifty sounds in its arsenal. Oleg currently teaches a course on playing the EWI at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Department of Computer Music, Acoustics, and Informatics). He is also the first Russian flutist to be invited to Japan as a professor and teacher of the flute class and to give master classes on playing the EWI.
