A hereditary musician and a laureate of numerous international festivals and competitions, Vladimir Presnyakov Sr. is a prolific composer, arranger, and an outstanding saxophonist.

He has composed hundreds of songs performed by the legendary stars of the Russian music scene, including Alla Pugacheva, Lev Leshchenko, Alexey Glyzin, Sergey Minaev, Larisa Dolina, Mikhail Boyarsky, Alexander Gradsky, Vladimir Kuzmin, Igor Nikolayev, Vladimir Presnyakov Jr., Alexander Barykin, Kristina Orbakaitė, the ensemble Samotsvety, and many others.

Awards and Titles

• 1996: Awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
• 2007: Awarded the title of Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation.
• 2020: Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation.
• 2024: Awarded the Order of Honor for his contributions to the development of national culture

and art and his many years of fruitful creative activity.

To date, Vladimir Presnyakov Sr. has crafted numerous exceptional compositions spanning various styles, from tender lyrical pieces and jazz melodies to exquisite compositions for piano. His entire creative output is imbued with deep emotion, soulfulness, and love.
