The Duet Sezon Lyubvi Dedicates New Song to Russia Day
June 12 marked the release of the new track by the duo Sezon Lyubvi titled “Bud schastlivoy, Rossiya” (“Be Happy, Russia”). The release, produced in collaboration with the Ray Records music publishing company, is timed to coincide with one of the country’s major national holidays – Russia Day.
The members of the musical duet are the talented and charismatic artists and spouses Alexey and Maria Dorokhin. Alexey is a reserve officer of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), and Maria is a civil servant. While working at EMERCOM, they were soloists in the vocal-instrumental ensemble Lider, which is where they met.
The creative couple’s duet has proved highly successful: the vocalists perform their own songs, frequently winning all-Russian and international competitions. The Dorokhins are also ambassadors for the People’s Front movement, performing concerts in hospitals and rehabilitation centers for wounded active-duty soldiers.
The theme of patriotism holds a special place in the performers’ creative work: their songs are imbued with love for their homeland, deep care for its destiny, and the joy of Victory. In their new composition, the artists once again sing about their beloved Russia – “invincible and unconquerable” – wishing it happiness and further prosperity.
Let us listen to the new musical release and join in the holiday celebrations across the country. Be happy, Russia!
