Bazhena Presents New Single “Vmesto Menya”

Starting June 5, the track “Vmesto menya” (“Instead of Me”) performed by Bazhena is available across all digital platforms. The single was released by the music publishing company Ray Records.

Bazhena is a singer and host, Grand Prix winner of the New Voices 2023 International Vocal Competition, laureate of the Jazz Birds 2023 jazz competition-festival, and winner of the Prime One International Award “Person of the Year 2024” in the “Debut of the Year” category. The singer is also known for her collaboration with singer Konstantin Legostaev, with whom she performed the song “U lyubvi v plenu” (“Captured by Love”).

This time, Bazhena decided on a creative experiment, recording a track in the pop-rock style. “Vmesto menya” is a song about a brief separation or perhaps about feelings that have not yet cooled down – everyone will be able to see their own story in the composition. Concise lyrics with vivid imagery, a melody that captivates from the very first notes, and the singer’s deep, velvety vocal timbre will not leave listeners indifferent.

The lyrics for the song “Vmesto menya” were written by songwriter Inna Rakhmanina. The music was composed by singer and songwriter Artur Best. The track was produced at the Grigory Leps Production Center, with production by Alexey Bazanovich.
